MEET AMANDA

My Evolution with a Camera

Photography started as a creative outlet for me long before it became a business. I’ve always been drawn to capturing moments that feel meaningful. But becoming a parent changed the way I see everything.

Watching my own littles grow and change so quickly gave me a more personal connection to photography. I wasn’t just creating images anymore, I was documenting memories I knew I would want to hold onto for years to come.

A calm, welcoming space for genuine connection and real moments.

Built Out of Purpose

When I started Amanda Manning Photography, I was in a season of growth in my own life. I was a new parent learning to step outside my comfort zone and build confidence in ways I hadn’t experienced before.

I wanted my kids to see me choose courage, even when it felt uncomfortable. Starting this business wasn’t about pressure. It was about purpose.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I know it can feel vulnerable to step in front of a camera. I also know how quickly time moves, especially once you have kids.

When I lost my dad as a teen, we realized there weren’t many recent photographs of him. That experience changed the way I think about photos. It reminded me how meaningful even simple images can become over time.

Because of that, I approach my work with intention. I’m not looking for perfection. I’m looking for connection, expression, and the natural interactions that reflect who you really are in this season of life. Because those are the moments you’ll want to look back on; the ones that bring you back not just to a time, but to a feeling.

A Welcoming Space

Creating a welcoming and respectful space is an important part of how I run my business. I want people to feel comfortable from the moment they land on my website or reach out.

Every family looks different, and every story is unique. I work with people from many backgrounds, and I approach each session with care and respect. My role is simply to create an environment where you can show up as you are and feel at ease.

When people feel comfortable, everything flows more naturally. And that’s when the images feel the most genuine.
